Profiles and Ballots Now Available!
Hard Copies of the Ballots and Profiles are Being Mailed To All PHSA Programs and Friends!
The Pennsylvania Head Start Association is proud of our memberships, strengths and diversity. The PHSA Board and staff work hard to serve you so together we can improve the lives of the children and families. This is your formal packet of election materials (if you have not already downloaded them from the PHSA web site). Included with this letter are the candidate profiles and program ballot. Signed ballots must be at the PHSA office no later than April 19, 2012 to be valid.

The PHSA Board Election Process works like this.

Each program sends in one ballot

The ballot is signed by the program’s administrator and policy council president to confirm its validity.

The program representatives from each membership group vote for their respective Board members.

The 2 parent representatives vote for the PHSA Parent Board representatives

The 1 staff representative votes for the PHSA Staff representatives

The 1 administrative representative votes for the PHSA Administrator representatives
